Claude and ChatGPT: master the tool and build your first agent
Understand how ChatGPT and Claude work, set up your workspace, automate tasks and build your first AI agent.

Who is it for?
- Target audience
- Employees, executives, freelancers and sole traders who use ChatGPT or Claude.
- Prerequisites
- Having taken the introduction course, or already using AI regularly (the pre-training questionnaire checks this). A paid ChatGPT or Claude subscription: most of these features are not available in the free plans. A laptop with the tool’s app, installed in advance or together on the day. On a company computer, installation sometimes requires approval from the IT department: plan for this before the training.
What are the objectives?
By the end of the training, each participant will be able to:
- Understand how ChatGPT and Claude work: models, tokens, limits
- Choose the right model and the right feature for each task
- Set up your workspace: instructions, projects, skills
- Connect the tool to your applications, knowing which data it can see
- Schedule a recurring task
- Build your first agent, and stay in control of it
What is the programme?
In one day: all four parts.
- 01
How your tool works
The models, tokens and features of ChatGPT and Claude: what each one can do, and what you use up.
See details
- Models: faster or more powerful (for Claude: Haiku, Sonnet, Opus), which one to choose for which task
- Tokens: how the tool counts your text, and why it “forgets” the beginning of a long conversation
- The limits of your subscription, and how not to reach them too quickly
- Each tool’s features: web search, file analysis, document creation
- 02
A tool set up for your job
Instructions, projects and skills: the tool knows how you work.
See details
- The plans (free, individual paid, team, enterprise) and the settings that protect your data
- Instructions: your style, your formats, and rules to limit made-up content (“hallucinations”)
- A project: one space per case or file, which keeps your documents and instructions, so you no longer have to explain everything again
- A skill: a method written once, which the tool then applies on its own
- 03
Connectors and scheduled tasks
A connector lets ChatGPT or Claude read your calendar, your emails or your files. A scheduled task makes it work on its own, for example every Monday morning.
See details
- What a connector can see, and the permissions you grant
- What is better left unconnected, and why
- Example: a summary of your monitoring, ready every Monday
- Review before acting: nothing is sent or published automatically
- 04
Your first agent
Understand how an agent works, then build your own, on one of your tasks.
See details
- An agent: a goal, tools, and steps it carries out on its own
- Demonstration: an agent in ChatGPT, an agent in Claude
- Workshop: everyone builds their agent and tests it on a real task
- Permissions, and approval before each important action
What do you take away?
- Your configured workspace: instructions, a project, a skill
- Your first agent, built during the training
- My instructions and skills, to adapt
- The course materials as a PDF and a reminder sheet
- A certificate of completion
How does the training work?
- Live demonstrations in ChatGPT and Claude
- Setting up your own workspace during the training
- Workshop: your first agent, on one of your tasks
How is learning assessed?
- Pre-training questionnaire on level and expectations
- Presentation of your setup and your agent at the end
- Knowledge quiz and satisfaction questionnaire
- Follow-up questionnaire three months later, for participants and the company
How do I enrol?
A 20-minute preliminary call, a questionnaire on your needs and the participants’ level, then a quote and a training agreement.
Before the training: a short questionnaire on each person’s level and expectations. I adapt the programme to the answers.
Equipment: one laptop (or a tablet, depending on the course) per participant, supplied by the company or their own. The room: on your premises, with a screen; otherwise, I book an external room and its cost is shown on the quote.
Lead time: Without funding: 1 to 2 weeks after the quote is accepted. With a funding application: at least one month.
Funding: your OPCO (a French training funding body) may cover all or part of the course, but this is not automatic; it depends on its rules. Your company applies before the training.
I work under the Qualiopi certification of my partner Route to Business.
The training can be adapted for people with disabilities. Let me know your needs before enrolling. Disability officer: Fenella Rauscher (contact@fenellarauscher.com).

Where to start?
The simplest way is to talk it through. The call takes 20 minutes, is free and there is no obligation.
